Founded in 1954, John Vergette Limited is a well-established, family-run, agricultural merchanting business. We are based just 5 miles from Immingham on the Humber estuary, the busiest port in the UK and a major export terminal. The company's core activity is serving the local agricultural community through the purchase of combinable crops and the supply of seed.
We have our own seed processing plant, and cleaning plant that enables us to supply to human consumption standards for the breakfast food industry. The company also provides salvage work for imported products, which can be cleaned, dried and stored on-site. Other facilities on-site include a pin mill used for grinding flours and spices. Our office provides advice and constantly updated prices between 8.30 and 5 daily, with longer hours over the harvest period.
